What must be remembered when preparing and conducting a Board meeting?


Preparation:

  • The agenda is created in advance! Who creates the agenda?

  • Reading and discussing documents in advance!

  • Consideration of different solutions, pros and cons

At the meeting:

  • Priorities on the agenda

  • Minutes! Decisions, responsible, deadlines.

  • Discussion of the implementation of previous decisions of the Board

  • Time regulations

  • Emotional restraint: remember this is a business meeting

After:

  • Minutes: to create, agree, disseminate

  • Enforce decisions
